Charissa is an American sportscaster born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst was hired to be a co-host by SportsNation towards the end of the year 2012. She cohosted ABC show Splash along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson is a native of Seattle Washington. Since her early years she realized that her ideal job was to be a broadcaster. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School at Kenmore Washington. Thompson left Washington for California in order to enroll in one of the colleges for community students. Additionally, she was granted California residency. Later, she went to University of California Santa Barbara and earned a bachelor of arts. in Law and Society in 2004. Sports Illustrated wrote she left Washington State (WSU) to go to a community college in California prior to transferring onto UC Santa Barbara Thompson has stated that she didn't attend WSU.
